| 3-6-07 The trainer of the new dog just left a message on the office phone, telling me that they have just graduated their last class of dogs and are now in the process of choosing the next canines to begin their basic training. He says that as soon as they feel they have the "ideal" dog for me, they will let me know. I am excited! My challenge now is to be patient so the new canine and I can find each other. Once they contact me telling me they have a possible candidate, I will be flying to northern California to meet her/him. After that the dog will begin their basic training. |
| 4-14-07 With the support of you generous funds, the Whisper Fund sent Suzanne Potts (USM 03 Grad) and me to San Francisco to meet Marius- A wonderfully cheerful Black Labrador to see if he and I were going to become teammates. As it turns out, Marius needed to be back on a farm where he can chase the things he loves to chase and run with the horses! He has a wonderful spirit and needs to be using it on a ranch. What an athlete! |
